Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the mobile app Color Seeker (Korean title: 색을 찾는 책) (the "Service") provided by QUANTUM IX UNITED INC. ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law of your country requires it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you and is responsible for any purchases you make.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Service for your own non-commercial enjoyment. The Service and everything in it — including the artwork, poems, text, music and code — belong to QUANTUM IX UNITED INC. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse engineer the Service or its content, except where the law allows it.

3. Your own writing and paintings

Text you write in the app ("Write in the margin"), artworks you paint ("Painting") and your colour notes are created and kept only on your device. We do not receive, read or publish them, and the Service does not share them with other people. You keep the rights to what you create. Because they exist only on your device, they are lost if you delete the app or lose the device (see section 4).

4. Virtual items and purchases

The Service offers optional in-app purchases: 20 hints, 80 hints and Fewer Ads (no between-round full-screen ads for 20 plates). Hints are sold in fixed amounts; they are not random draws or loot boxes. These items have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be sold or transferred. When you buy or earn them you receive a limited licence to use them in the Service; you do not own them.

All purchases are consumable and are made through Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms. The store handles payment and shows the price in your local currency, so refund requests go to the store: Google Play (play.google.com → Order history) or Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). Items are delivered as soon as you buy them. In the EU and the UK, by buying you ask for immediate delivery and accept that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the item is delivered. In Korea and other countries whose law gives a right to cancel, you may use that right for items you have not yet used, as the law provides.

Your progress, items, writing and paintings are saved only on your device. There is no account and no server copy. If you delete the app, reset your device or move to a new device they may be lost; consumable purchases cannot be restored by the stores and we cannot restore them for you. Please keep this in mind before uninstalling.

We may change prices, rewards and how items work in order to keep the app balanced.

5. Advertising

The Service is supported by ads served by Google AdMob: optional rewarded ads (you get the stated reward only when you watch to the end) and full-screen ads between rounds. Ads are provided by third parties and we are not responsible for advertisers' products or websites. How ad data is used, and how you can make choices about it, is explained in our Privacy Policy. If you decline ad consent or tracking, you can keep playing.

6. Poems and translations

The 99 poems in the Service were written in Korean. Their translations into the other languages of the Service include AI-generated drafts and may contain mistakes or lose nuance; the Korean text is the original.

7. Fair use

Do not cheat, exploit bugs, use modified apps or bots, tamper with the Service, or use it for anything unlawful. If you do, we may stop providing the Service to you.

8. Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop the Service or any part of it. If we stop the Service completely we will give reasonable notice in the Service where possible.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for items in the six months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law, or our liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Governing law and disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us first at support-cs@lfbe.io — most issues can be solved quickly. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be heard by the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.

11. App stores

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. If you downloaded the Service from the Apple App Store: Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service; claims about the Service (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property) are our responsibility, not Apple's; if the Service fails to conform to an applicable warranty you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price of the app (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the store's own terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the Service before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
